So Much Fun

We've had a busy few weeks meeting and working with wonderful people. Heidi and I truly feel we have created partnerships with so many schools and PTA's. Our strategy for fundraising is and simple to understand and put together, and we have experienced nothing but smooth, easy, "no problem" events.

We have particularly enjoyed getting to know the remarkable volunteers that represent these PTA's. These women (and a few men!) have been so impressive to get to know. Their tireless efforts to support their schools, as well as juggle work and families is not only impressive, but inspirational.

Congratulations to those of you who have hosted successful Camp Snuggly events, and good luck and best wishes to those of you we'll be working with in the future!

Certificate stations.

February Forecast

So much is happening. We are making plans to be at several South Jersey Schools in February (seems to be a big month for school fundraisers!). Jaggard Elementary in Marlton, Kresson School in Voorhees, H.W. Longfellow in Pennsauken, Bret Harte in Cherry Hill to name a few. Soon, students and families from these schools will be receiving order forms for their very own SNUGGLY. So, not only will the kids have a great event, but by participating, they will be helping out their PTA's...

So, if you are a student at one of these schools, we'll see you in February!

Birth Announcement

About 40 new SNUGGLIES were stuffed and "adopted" today when Heidi and I "set up camp" with residents at the Dubin House. It was so much fun to meet the residents, and we were so grateful for the help of the Dubin House Staff. Special thanks (and hugs) to Ellen who organized the event and Sandy who helped decorate t-shirts with Puffy Paint. (Sandy did an incredible job...what penmanship!!!).

Girl Scouts - Camping with SNUGGLIES

Camp Snuggly has a special program just for Girl Scout Troops. Specially priced Snuggly packages include custom troop t-shirts, and custom birth certificates and exclusive Camp Snuggly patches. Even better, Camp Snuggly can assist your girls in earning Try-Its. Here are some of our favorite suggestions:·
Animals – Creature Moves, Sounds Charades, (activities found in Try-It handbook)
· Eco Explorer – make a pretend habitat for your SNUGGLY
· Outdoor Adventurer – Sleep out – (you have to have something to snuggle at a Camp-Out!)
· Ready, Set, Go Camping
· Senses – Can you feel it?
· Creative Composing – Compose a painting of your SNUGGLY, Compose a play with SNUGGLY, Compose a SNUGGLY song

For more Try-It suggestions, contact us!! 856-SNUGGLY (thats 856-768-4459)

Wishing you all the best,

Your Head Counselor
Lori :)

Visiting Day!

We are so proud to announce that we will be visiting the residents of Brendenwood Assisted Living in Voorhees, NJ. The residents are going to get to select and stuff their own Snugglies. We are also personalizing t-shirts for the SNUGGLIES...so the residents will have a sweet holiday gift to give to their grandkids and great-grandkidsMoreover, Brendenwood has invited friends and family join their residents at their Camp Snuggly Event. So, not only will everyone get an adorable new plush friend, but even more importantly, they will have spent some special and memorable time with loved ones. Brendenwood isn't the only Assisted Living Facility we'll be visiting this holiday season, we have several more on the docket. Heidi and I are especially gratified to be able to help people do something nice for those they love. Check back for pics, we'll be posting them after the event!
Fondly,
Lori Head Counselor

Birthday Fun

We are planning a lot of Camp Snuggly birthday parties. This "camper" had a slumber party, and Camp Snuggly was one of the activities. The best part is, all of her guests had a special pal to snuggle with at bedtime.
